In response to the recent Cholera outbreak, the United Nations Children's Fund, UNICEF, and the World Health Organization, WHO, with financing from the United Nations Central Emergency Response Fund, launched a series of initiatives to treat and prevent the spread of the disease. Communities living along the Congo River now stand a better chance of beating Cholera.
