Short description
KPMG International has been piloting - and is now rolling out - the "KPMG Global Development Initiative" - which is about deploying the core skills and capabilities of KPMG member firms in pursuit of the Millennium Development Goals. KPMG is in over 140 countries and its member firms have over 137,000 employees. Working in partnership with the KPMG International Development Services teams, various projects around the world demonstrate how seriously KPMG is taking the principles of the UN Global Compact and making a proactive and serious commitment to the issues facing the world - that need business skills and that need business to work in partnership with NGOs and civil society.
