But we want to do something extra. Working with development organization VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas) is a perfect match because we can help them select the right people, something we do every day. And: All of our employees can play a role in this partnership.” Randstad supports VSO financially, through in-kind donations and by providing expertise in recruitment & selection. Most importantly we stimulate our employees, who come from varied backgrounds -IT, HR, finance, etc.- to volunteer or raise awareness or funds for VSO. So far over 75 Randstad employees have volunteered with VSO in developing countries reaching thousands of beneficiaries. more[...]

10 Years of HelpAlliance
Editorial TeamIn September 1999, 13 Lufthansa employees (called Lufthanseat in Germany) from all divisions of the group founded HelpAlliance e.V. – Lufthanseat engagieren sich (Employees Lend a Helping Hand). In 2009, the employees’ politically independent and non-denominational organization celebrated its 10th anniversary. The organization is looking back on more than 60 successfully finished or still-running projects and numerous supporting operations. Emergency aid, such as for the 2004 tsunami disaster, is also part of HelpAlliance’s short history. more[...]
